Shipping parts
across borders.
AfterMark ships to over 60 countries from our distribution center in Princeton, Texas. International orders follow the same quality and availability standards as domestic orders — with a few additional steps for customs documentation and freight selection.
First time ordering internationally? Contact us before placing your order and we'll walk you through carrier options, estimated landed costs, and any documentation your country may require.
01 — Overview
How international orders work
International orders are accepted by phone, email, or through our websites for eligible destinations. All prices on our websites are quoted in US dollars. Orders are processed, picked, and exported from our Princeton facility — the same operation that handles our domestic distribution.
Because international shipments cross customs borders, the buyer is responsible for import duties, taxes, and any fees imposed by the destination country. We prepare and provide all standard export documentation, but we are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance at the point of entry.
Prepayment required
All international orders must be paid in full by wire transfer before shipment. Net 30 terms are not available for international accounts.
FOB Princeton
Title and risk of loss transfer to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier at our Princeton facility. We recommend cargo insurance on all international shipments.
Lead time add
Add 1–2 business days to standard lead times for export documentation preparation and carrier scheduling on international orders.
Minimum order
International orders have a $500 USD net minimum to ensure freight costs are proportionate to order value.

03 — Carriers & transit times
Getting your shipment there
We work with a range of international carriers and freight forwarders depending on shipment size, destination, and urgency. The table below shows typical options — actual availability is confirmed at time of order.
| Service | Best for | Estimated transit | Tracking |
|---|---|---|---|
| UPS / FedEx International | Parcels up to 150 lbs | 2–7 business days | Full door-to-door |
| DHL Express | Time-sensitive small parcels | 1–4 business days | Full door-to-door |
| Air freight (forwarder) | Palletized / heavy shipments | 3–7 business days | Airway bill tracking |
| Ocean LCL | Large orders, cost-sensitive | 3–8 weeks | Container tracking |
| Buyer's freight account | Any size, preferred forwarder | Per carrier | Per carrier |
You may use your own freight forwarder or carrier account. Provide the account number and carrier instructions at time of order and we will book the pickup on your behalf. All freight costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
04 — Customs, duties & taxes
What to expect at the border
Import duties, VAT, GST, and any other taxes or fees imposed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer. We do not collect or estimate these fees in advance — they are assessed by customs authorities at the point of entry and may be billed to you directly by the carrier.
Documentation we provide
We prepare and include the following standard export documents with every international shipment at no additional charge:
| Document | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Commercial invoice | Declares the contents, quantity, value, and terms of sale for customs valuation |
| Packing list | Itemizes contents by package for customs inspection and delivery verification |
| Export declaration (EEI) | Filed electronically with US Customs for shipments over $2,500 USD |
| Certificate of origin | Available on request for countries requiring proof of US origin for tariff purposes |
| NAFTA / USMCA certificate | Available on request for Canada and Mexico shipments qualifying for preferential duty rates |
| Material Safety Data Sheet | Provided for any products classified as hazardous materials under international shipping regulations |
Declared value. We declare the actual commercial value of all shipments on export documentation. We do not undervalue shipments or mark goods as "gifts" — doing so is illegal under US export law and the laws of most destination countries.
05 — Payment & currency
How to pay for an international order
All international orders are priced and invoiced in US dollars. Full payment is required before goods are released for shipment.
Wire transfer (preferred)
USD wire transfer to our US bank account. Banking details provided on your proforma invoice. Please allow 1–2 business days for funds to clear before shipment.
Letter of credit
Irrevocable letters of credit accepted for orders over $10,000 USD. Contact us to discuss terms and required documentation before ordering.
Currency fluctuation. Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date of the proforma invoice. Orders not confirmed and paid within that window may be subject to repricing.
06 — Export compliance
US export law and your responsibilities
All shipments from AfterMark LLC are subject to US export laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) administered by the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and sanctions programs administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
By placing an international order, you confirm that:
You are not a restricted party
You, your organization, and the end user of the goods do not appear on any US denied party, debarred, or sanctioned entity list.
The destination is not embargoed
The goods will not be shipped, re-exported, or transferred to any country subject to a comprehensive US trade embargo.
End use is lawful
The goods will be used for their intended commercial purpose and will not be applied to any prohibited end use, including weapons development or proliferation activities.
You will comply with local import laws
You will obtain all required import licenses, permits, and authorizations required by your country's laws before the goods arrive.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any international order that we believe may violate US export law, without obligation to disclose the specific reason for refusal.
07 — Returns & warranty
International return and warranty policy
We stand behind our products internationally. However, the logistics and cost of international returns mean that our process differs from domestic returns.
Defective product
Defective items are credited or replaced. Contact us within 60 days of receipt. We will assess whether return of the defective item is required based on its value and freight cost.
Stock returns
International stock returns are accepted within 30 days with prior authorization. Return freight is at the buyer's expense. A 15% restocking fee applies.
Incorrect shipment
If we ship the wrong item, we will credit the return freight cost and ship the correct item. Contact us within 10 business days of delivery.
Non-returnable items
Electrical parts, special-order items, and clearance products are non-returnable internationally, as they are domestically.
Warranty claims. International warranty claims follow the same process as domestic claims — contact us for a Warranty Authorization number before returning anything. Do not ship goods back without prior approval, as unauthorized returns will be refused at our facility.
